Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa are jointly called “BRICS Countries” (B- brazil, R- Russia, I- India, C- China & S- South Africa), and furthermore the nick name was especially given because they are laying the “bricks” in building the new road leading to new future representing the new world. BRICS countries population gives the highest percentage of the world population. Moreover, they have a big percentage of the global natural resources, such resources cover almost everything from energy, gas, gold & up to agriculture and water…..
BRICS countries have established a joint strong development bank and they are working hard to use their local currencies in all dealings among themselves, away from the dollar or euro or the World Bank or otherwise. Surprisingly, Britain, France, Portugal, UAE… and others are working hard to join BRICS new development bank. A non-welcomed step by America.
In BRICS they are calling for new global economic relations free from any domination from America or its controlled financial institutions, as World Bank & IMF. Even, the BRICS are looking for new political relationship at the UN level & the Security Council in some disagreement to the Veto & Quota voting system used therein.
Nowadays, many countries from different parts are working hard to join BRICS train before it is too late. Countries like, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt and many are seriously planning to join this new queue line leading to a new era.
Sudan, is a country of rich & diversified natural resources, looking for better future opportunities for the betterment of the people. We believe, that it would be beneficial for the country and its people to join forces with BRICS countries. Already Sudan is in good relations with those countries particularly China, Russia & South Africa whose President was recently in a State visit to Sudan to boost joint relations. China & India got big important investments and looking for more lucrative opportunities to come.
The geographical location of Sudan, being the link between Arab Middle Eastern Countries & Africa, will definitely give advantageous credit to BRICS. This is in addition to the virgin land for agriculture, huge livestock, availability of tremendous natural resources & human resources… all this will constitute an added-value to both BRICS Countries & Sudan.
BRICS, will soon change our world to a new-look and hopefully Sudan will be an active effective part of this process not a mere witness from remote corridors.
BRICS vision & mission lays new dimension that is strategically required to shake the globe. Our globe needs new ideas of “thinking out of the box” to materialize in bringing a new world with different shape, flavor & looks in economy, politics, social affairs… etc. There is imminent need to stop the going-on current “new colonization” esteeming from the domination of certain countries. Which, we all know…
BRICS countries, already started the march, the glorious march to “New World”, we hopefully look for Sudan to join this glorious march. We look for Sudan to be part of the history that will shape the new map for the new world. Yes, let’s work hard for to achieve this goal as coming generations deserve a big change. A new world. BRICS initiatives must be supported by Sudan & Sudan people.
